Bahram chobeen, the genius soldier


In the year 588 AD, for the first time in history, an Iranian soldier called bahram managed to use crude oil balls on a launcher against Chinese. They had occupied the northeastern part of Iran ( now Tajikistan) then known as balkh. Bahram a man from Rey(present Tehran) and the govern er of Azerbaijan and Armenia. After a visit to Caspian sea he found out about the gushers of crude oil and created a way for making a launcher and so he did it. Sassanid shah of Iran, Hormoz chose Bahram of his great skills to face the invaders. The Persian army surprised the Chinese with a sudden attack and before anything can be done, only in one day kicked them back to the Pamir Mountains. As for 28 of November, it's the birthday of Tehran's Hero Bahram Choobin.
